The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest® Boat Parade producers are thrilled to announce a talented artist and songwriter will perform his new song “Laudy Dayo!” during the Parade. This anthem celebrates Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County.
Inspired by the inclusive nature of the community, “Laudy Dayo!” embraces the idea that everyone can express themselves freely and proudly. This song encourages individuals to embrace their uniqueness and “color out loud.”
The concept and title of the song were influenced by the brilliantly worded slogan of Broward County “Everyone Under the Sun,” which has been seamlessly integrated into the lyrics.

Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade Announced as Grand Finale of Fort Lauderdale’s America 250 Celebration
Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, Florida – May 15, 2026 — Winterfest is proud to announce that the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade will serve as the official grand finale of the City of Fort Lauderdale’s America 250 Celebration, a yearlong tribute commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the United States.
Bringing together community, culture, and coastal tradition, Winterfest’s iconic Boat Parade will cap off a series of patriotic events hosted throughout the year, celebrating the spirit, history, and vibrancy of America—right here along Greater Fort Lauderdale’s world-famous waterways.

Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade Announces 2026 Theme: “Party in the U.S.A.” Celebrating America’s 250th Anniversary
Broward County, Fort Lauderdale, Florida – February 16, 2026 — The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade®, one of the nation’s most iconic holiday traditions, is proud to announce its official theme: “Party in the U.S.A.” The theme honors the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
The 2026 parade will proudly align with the nationwide America250 celebration, a historic, once-in-a-generation milestone marking the nation’s semi quincentennial. Across the country, communities will gather to reflect on America’s past, celebrate its present, and envision its future — and Winterfest will bring that national spirit to life in spectacular fashion on the waters of the City of Fort Lauderdale as it travels through Broward County’s waterways to Pompano Beach.
As part of the “Party in the U.S.A.” theme, the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade is encouraging participants to showcase iconic images and symbols that define America from sea to shining sea. Boat decorations may feature beloved national landmarks and imagery such as the Liberty Bell, the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, and other symbols of freedom, unity, innovation, and American pride. Together, these floating displays will create a patriotic panorama celebrating the diverse stories and shared ideals that unite the nation.
“Party in the U.S.A.” invites boaters, sponsors, designers, shoreline residents and businesses to celebrate American music, culture, sports, history, and creativity in bold and imaginative ways. From red, white, and blue designs to tributes honoring the nation’s enduring spirit, the theme sets the stage for a vibrant and meaningful celebration of our independence in December.

Winterfest® Announces New Time for Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade

54th Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade
South Florida’s signature holiday tradition returns on Saturday, December 13, 2025, with a new start time. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a pre-show of non-motorized vessels, followed by the parade kickoff at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Staging takes place along the New River (from Stranahan House to the west of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts). From there, the dazzling procession travels east to the Intracoastal Waterway, then heads north to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. Known as “The Most Spectacular Show on H2O,” this 12-mile parade takes about 2.5 hours to pass a single viewing point and draws more than one million spectators each year.

Adding star power to the celebration, internationally renowned artist Romero Britto and R&B icon Montell Jordan will serve as this year’s Grand Marshals, bringing energy, artistry, and excitement to the parade.

FORT LAUDERDALE (BROWARD COUNTY), FL – Monday, August 25, 2025- Winterfest®, Inc. announces Montell Jordan, R&B icon and inspirational performer, and Romero Britto, internationally acclaimed artist, will serve as Co-Grand Marshals for the 54th annual 2025 Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest® Boat Parade.

Montell Jordan is best known for his 1995 chart-topping anthem “This Is How We Do It,” a track that became a defining sound. With multiple hit albums and a career spanning more than two decades, Jordan continues to captivate audiences with his voice, message, and presence. Beyond the stage, he is also a passionate speaker and community advocate, making a meaningful impact through his outreach, music, and ministry.
Romero Britto is a globally celebrated artist recognized for his bold use of color, playful themes, and signature pop-cubist style. His artwork has adorned galleries, public spaces, and
brand collaborations around the world. As poster artist for Winterfest® 2025, Britto’s vibrant visual interpretation of the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade is a celebration of joy and holiday magic – capturing the spirit of the season in his iconic style.

About the Artist Romero Britto
Romero Britto, founder of the Happy Art Movement, is an internationally renowned artist who has created an iconic visual language of happiness, fun, love, and hope all its own inspiring millions worldwide. Brazilian-born and Miami-made, Romero has made it to the top and is considered one of the most famous and celebrated living visual artists in the globe. About the Artist Montell Jordan
Montell Jordan entered the music scene from the streets of Los Angeles. His first release, This Is How We Do It, was a breakout new jack-swing song that topped the Hot 100 for seven weeks and R&B charts for eight. Jordan, tall and handsome with a silky smooth voice, established himself as a powerful presence in music, brimming with talent, savvy, and charm. Over his nearly twenty-year career in music, Jordan has released seven studio albums, fourteen singles, and is a Grammy nominated artist >selling more than 10 million records worldwide. He has written five (5) #1 records during his career that has spanned over 2 decades.
