Winterfest® Announces New Time for Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade
WHAT:
54th Annual Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade
South Florida’s signature holiday tradition returns on Saturday, December 13, 2025, with a new start time. Festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a pre-show of non-motorized vessels, followed by the parade kickoff at 6:00 p.m. in Downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Staging takes place along the New River (from Stranahan House to the west of the Broward Center for the Performing Arts). From there, the dazzling procession travels east to the Intracoastal Waterway, then heads north to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. Known as the “Best Show on H2O,” this 12-mile parade takes about 2.5 hours to pass a single viewing point and draws more than one million spectators each year.
This year’s event will feature:
- Seminole Hard Rock Grand Marshal Showboat presented by Fifth Third, decorated with creations by Romero Britto
- Santa Showboat delivered by Amazon, leading the parade
- First-ever EDM floating stage
- Salute to the Military entry by FutureTech
- Bluefoot Pirate Adventures with Pirates and the Florida Children’s Theatre
- Piper High School marching performers
- Visit Lauderdale’s Grand Finale showboat
- Aqua Flight’s aquatic fire & water stunt show
- Drums of Polynesia fire show
- Spectacular Dragon entry

Adding star power to the celebration, internationally renowned artist Romero Britto and R&B icon Montell Jordan will serve as this year’s Grand Marshals, bringing energy, artistry, and excitement to the parade.
