Santa Claus is taking a little vacation before his big night and Winterfest is hosting him in Greater Fort Lauderdale

Capture all the fun and excitement as Santa comes to visit starting the week of November 21 till December 12 (and maybe a little longer). Winterfest and Visit Lauderdale will be tracking Santa to let all the good little boys and girls where he might Pop Up. Look for constant updates on Santa Sightings – Virtual Santa Events as well as children, family activities, ornament making, and parties for grown-ups on this page. The Parade is suspended but Santa will still be riding on his floating “sleigh” – look below for details.

The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau and the City of Fort Lauderdale are secretly treating Santa Claus as a tourist. And, guess what? Winterfest will have the evidence! Come back to this page the first week of November to find out where Jolly Ol’ Elf will be visiting during his stay before the “big night.”

Storytime with Santa

A virtual storytime with Santa Claus on December 5th. Santa Claus is going to take a moment from his busy schedule to read ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas.

Registration to be a part of this live event will be open in October. The first 100 families will receive the same book Santa will be reading that night.
