Fort Lauderdale Historical Society to honor Winterfest®
This year, the 20th annual Fort Lauderdale Historical Society Founders Dinner honors Winterfest® and the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest® Boat Parade for its positive influence and economic impact of more than $48 million on the local community. The “Dock, Dine and Dance” themed event will be held October 17th at Pier Top Lounge at Hyatt Regency Pier 66, from 6-9 p.m. “The Fort Lauderdale Historical Society provides education, research and preservation of our rich history. Now they honor one of our oldest AND BEST LOVED events: Winterfest, a 43 year-old tradition that launches the holiday season in Greater Fort Lauderdale and welcomes with dazzling lights the first of winter weary tourists to our sun-kissed shores,” said Nicki E. Grossman, President of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau. Tickets to attend the 20th Annual Founder’s Dinner on October 17 are $150.
