Continental Airlines – First time Winterfest has a named Title Sponsor of Parade. Winterfest becomes known as “Continental Airlines/Winterfest Boat Parade”
The television coverage of the parade has expanded to over 34 million households from Miami, Chicago, Boston and Atlanta.
The program was shown live on the Sunshine Network and televised on independent cable.
The headlining act at the Black Tie ball is Rock & Roll Hall of Famer “Dion.”
