3The Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce
EXPERIENCE. BETTER. BUSINESS.
Founded in 1910, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce is the oldest and largest business organization in Broward County and it is apparent that throughout our history we have transitioned to better serve the business community. Growing businesses and building our community has been a longtime passion of the GFLCC and as always the Chamber has been able to depend on its numerous volunteers to help implement our plans and define our future.
The Chamber’s goal is to bring businesses, organizations and individuals together to help develop a vibrant community and we are doing that by working diligently on the resolution of affordable/workforce/attainable housing, partnering with other organizations on regional transportation initiatives, beach re-nourishment as well as other business-related issues.
In addition to being the #1 Go To Source for the Business Community, the Chamber offers unique opportunities for its members through special events, regional and international business development, community forum programs, leads groups, networking functions, leadership programs, Trustee receptions, business after hours, area council functions an annual golf tournament as well as general membership programs.
Generate solid leads and business contacts for members through increased participation in networking programs.
Provide special member incentives on important products and services through the Membership Advantage affinity program.
Build communication and relationships with local, county and state Legislative Delegations.
Strengthen public trust in and support for our school system.
Facilitate and improve environments for the establishment of new business opportunities.
Provide additional financial support for member programs and services.
Membership in the Chamber is about more than attending events or passing out business cards, it’s about building relationships, creating connections, helping each other. Members create networks and referral systems though the Chamber’s Leads Groups, Committees and Councils. Participation is KEY in generating interest and building critical relationships to help grow your business. Remember R.O.I. Return on Involvement! For more information visit www.ftlchamber.com
