Broward County Waterway Cleanup

The 41st Annual Waterway Cleanup, organized by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida and Marine Industry Cares Foundation, is the county’s largest and longest-running environmental event. In 2016, over 1,500 volunteers of all ages by land and 100 boats worked at more than 30 locations across the county to remove 22 tons of trash and debris from our waterways, rivers and canals.
