Las Olas Riverfront LogoDECEMBER 1st —Winterfest Family Fun Day at Las Olas Riverfront Noon-4:00 p.m.
Enjoy this free family event along the Parade’s new route. Come take in the live entertainment and children’s activities overlooking the New River. Free Bicycle Helmets from the Broward Epilepsy Foundation (while supply lasts). Panthers slapshot, bounce house, arts & crafts, South Florida Firefighter Calendar Men, sampling and much more. CANCELLED - “The Fine ART of Jazz ”

“The Fine ART of Jazz ” presented by Winterfest and Seminole Paradise Noon-5:00 pm

DECEMBER 8th—Lanson Champagne Winterfest Black Tie Ball in association with Patron and Southern Wine & Spirits. Hosted by the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino The Ball is the most elegant of our festivities and by far the highlight of Fort Lauderdale’s social season. Enjoy the Movie-themed JM Lexus Welcome Reception as you bid on packages in the Wachovia Silent Auction from 6:00- 8:00pm. The Auction features over 250 items to choose from. A live auction takes place inside the ballroom with items such as a 2008 JM Lexus and shopping spree from Carroll’s Jewelers. Bid on weekend vacations, dinner at your favorite restaurant, sports memorabilia, fine art, collectibles and much more. Enjoy wines, champagne and martinis, all from Southern Wine and Spirits. Skipper’s Meeting at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino

This is a mandatory meeting for all Boat Parade participants to receive line-up information, rules and regulations for the parade. The entry with the MOST VOTES in the parade receives two tickets from SOUTHWEST AIRLINES!

DECEMBER 11th

Shoreline Decorating Extravaganza presented by Riverwalk Trust

This festive event encourages the shoreline community to show their holiday spirit while creating a beautiful backdrop for the Boat Parade along the 12-mile Parade route including the New River. Limited Tickets Available for Sale.  

 

DECEMBER  13th

The VIP Reception is another of the elegant affairs that make up the Winterfest Celebration. Approximately 350 guests attend the reception, including dignitaries and celebrities that join us to celebrate the Winterfest Celebration in style. BY INVITATION ONLY.

 

 

 DECEMBER 15th

Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade

The 36th Annual Boat Parade begins at the New River in Fort Lauderdale at 6:30 p.m. and travels North up the Intracoastal Waterway to Lake Santa Barbara in Pompano Beach. This year’s theme, “Broadway on the Waterway” embraces the beauty of our waterways this floating parade calls its stage. This parade will encompass 100 boats with celebrities, musical groups, beauty queens, circus barge and many other exciting entries! Many of the boats embrace a local charity. DECEMBER 15th

VIP Viewing Area presented by BNY Mellon Bank and hosted by the Riverside Hotel. The most prestigious location to watch the Winterfest Boat Parade! Approximately 380 community leaders, dignitaries and Winterfest Sponsors will enjoy the ambiance of the Riverside Hotel located at the beginning of the parade route.  This event includes a magnificent buffet and cocktails. The area is also host to the television and our boat parade judges. BY INVITATION ONLY.

 

 

            

DECEMBER 15th

Grandstand Viewing Area presented by Tostitos For the best seats on land to view the Parade, reserve your Frito Lay Grandstand tickets today!  All seats are reserved and assigned located inside Birch State Park. Seats are $20.00 per adult /  $15.00 per child 10 and under (plus tax).  Group rates are available.  Enjoy the Family Fun Zone’s assortment of interactive games for the whole family. Experience the Florida Panthers' Slap Shot Game, spin for prizes on the 99.9 KISS prize wheel and much more! The Seminole Tribe of Florida hosts "The Outpost"; featuring Indian arts & crafts and authentic Indian dancing. Stop by the Culinary Courtyard presented by LandShark to quench your thirst and enjoy a variety of foods - all for sale.  Enjoy an ice cold Land Shark, Michelob Ultra, drinks, foods from Bucky's Grill and of course all your favorite Coca-Cola products will be on ice!  After getting your beverage, check out the delicious food from a variety of restaurants and vendors while enjoying the stage come alive with entertainment from Radio Disney. Fun and excitement for children at Sun-Sentinel children areas and adults of all ages!  99.9 Kiss Country provides the commentary for the Parade. You may enter (walk in) Birch State Park for a general admission of just $2.  You are invited to experience all the pre-parade activities, the Grandstands are gated and you will not be permitted inside without a ticket.  You will need to bring a chair or blanket and save your spot on the Southern end of the park near the seawall for optimum viewing.  There will be no unauthorized vehicles permitted inside the park the day of the parade. Park and Ride service is arranged for your convenience.

Winner’s Circle: Hosted by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Broward County Convention Center. This event will honor all the winners of the Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest Boat Parade and the Shoreline Decorating Extravaganza presented by RiverTrust. Winterfest corporate sponsors, board of directors, volunteers and Winterfest supporters will be at this exclusive party to congratulate all those that went the extra mile to become a winner! 

FEBRUARY 2008

 Winterfest Volunteer Party hosted by Tikki Beach. A special way to say thank you to all our volunteers who made this year’s events spectacular.

City and Shore Magazine. Hosted by The Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale with epicurean delights from Timpano’s / Samba Room.
Be a part of the media glitz as Winterfest kicks off the Season. Aerial and musical performances highlight the parade’s theme throughout the evening at this exclusive party for sponsors, media partners and winners of the Sara Lee Sweepstakes. NOVEMBER —Winterfest Coral HUMMER Golf & Tennis Classic presented by Ruden McClosky Hosted by The Coral Ridge Country Club. Four person scramble with Shot Gun start at Noon. Box lunches, with beverages provided. Price is $200 per person / $800 per foursome. Tennis pre-registration is $125pp ($150pp after November 10th) which includes an Awards Dinner Cocktail Reception.
